Hey guys I got a 2000 Legacy L like a month ago and have been browsing these forums. I finally decided to become a member and post lol. Well as it sits it pretty much factory besides a remote start. I'm an audio guy so i got so pretty fancy stuff sitting in my closet for it (:

Well i already have some questions so here they are:

1. To use the remote start the place had to disable the security system. I'd rather have the security than the remote start so how would I go about uninstalling it? Like I heard they would have had to cut into the starter wire to do it. I just didnt want to be stuck with a non running car lol

2. Who are the top audio guys here? I got more questions but i'd like to talk to the people who know a lot about car audio and how it fits into this car.

Welcome! All your questions can be answered faster if you make new threads in the Electrical section of the forums. Where are you located?

Well, in all fairness, you just had to post it  Tiny.

Please make a Member's Ride thread, but be sure to follow the template. Results have been locked threads etc... Welcome, and as you can see, we have fun :smt006

And if you're from WV, what's up with the screen name?

Welcome to SLi.

For any security questions please consult the wiring diagrams/schematics located in the Factory Service Manual (check my signature for d/l link). Once you have located key wiring signals you can trace them and find the spliced connections from the aftermarket unit. Simple enough it just takes a bit of patients..

As far as audio goes.. I don't think anyone person is a audio guru, we all have skills, experiences with different setups. Some guys are audiophiles while others are daily soundwave warriors.

Post and someone will chime in :-D

Cheers and once gain welcome to SLi.
