My 2007 gt has no illumination to any of the buttons or knobs on the stereo and heater unit. The displays work fine also the nav buttons dont light up and neither do the si drive knob lights..is this a fuse that maybe out and if so then what fuse? Any suggestions? Thanks

Are your gauge cluster lights also out (MPH / RPM gauges)?

Sounds like an illumination fuse has been blown. Look at the fuse box in your engine bay and look for a 10A fuse. On the cover of the fuse box, should say something like 'ILLUMI'.

I can only speak for the 2nd gen series legacy, but yours is probably the same as well. Should say right on the top of the fuse box which it is. Pull it out, check to see if the wire is broken, and then replace it.

No the main dash lights are working correctly, I will check under the hood but the main fuse box had no blown under the dash. its strange that the radio and heater display are lit up and that its localized to just the buttons and the si control knob

Yeah, check under the hood.. that is where the 'ILLUMI' fuse is on my car, and probably the same on yours. It should be right there, and you will be able to tell which is is by using the top cover of the fuse box as a reference.

Its not the illum fuse that ws located under the dash, no such fuse in engine bay fuse box. Checked other fuses that may be related but nothing is blown..stumped

Have you changed anything or done anything to the car lately? Has it been having any other symptoms? Are you sure the illumination isnt just turned down on the wiper stalk?

No have not done anything to it, only other thing is that the si drive is not working. I wonder if its a circuit issue ... Or if perhaps the pin connector is loose?

The illum adjuster is on the dash now, as opposed two second gen or 3 gen lgt. and I have played with that as well..its wierd its just the buttons and knobs, and that the, radio display and heater displays are working fine as is the main cluster

Sounds like you definitely have some electrical issues with your car. I don't know enough about the 2007 versions to help you much further unfortunately..

Could be bulbs, or a bad connection behind the HVAC panel. I know I messed around with all of the bulbs back there, and they worked afterwards, sometimes it's just a faulty connection.
