Can some one let me know what type these are so I can go buy them from Lowes? They are the 2 you remove when replacing your radio. My car only had one and i lost it tonight seeing if I had the security module.

Almost any interior screw will work. Its just a cir clip on the dash side that recieves it. Basically, you can get any interior dash screw or self tapping screw. And the control/brain for your alarm is under the steering column, not there.

actually code alarms are under the dash the alpine ones are on the right side of your stereo.

You're both right on the location of the security module. It depends on the year...

They're short, fat ones... approx 10mm long, have a pan-head Phillips top, and should be around 5mm diameter.

hahah I dropped both of mine down the top of the tranny and console... that is what motivated me to find one of the last OEM accessory outlets to replace the ashtray.
