Hi,
I have a 2000 Subaru Legacy Blitzen BE5 with an idle issue. The car starts fine, but when the rpm's start to drop, the car idles so low that it dies. I changed out the MAF and the idle sensor, but it still does the same thing. What would you recommend to do next?

There's a way detecting vacuum leaks with smoke. Try youtube - http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... 0.7.4l11l0 (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+detect+a+vacuum+leak&oq=how+to+detect+a+vacuum+leak&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=17277l23452l0l23588l27l25l0l14l14l1l218l1864l0.7.4l11l0)
TP senstor - Throttle Position sensor - It's usually located by/at the throttle chamber.

what that guy is doing really isnt an option because my car won't run after the initial start up. i'll have to figure something out since i'm doing this on my own.

Checked for error codes and nothing came up. Time to take it to the shop I think.
