Hi, I was on eBay like always lol. And i came across a Walbro 255LPH from a WRX/STI.. And i was wandering if there was any beneficent reason to swap it out in a N/A Legacy EJ25 2.5L 95-99 2nd Legacy i know " anothernord " Did a DIY on how to install a 2005 STI fuel pump but he was Supercharging.

What I'm trying to ask does it make senses to install a upgraded fuel pump in a N/A 2nd gen legacy

I like doing these small little upgrades haha.

The pump i saw that got this started.

The fuel system on almost all subarus use a "return system" this allows a constant flow of fuel at all times. The higher rated fuel pumps will work just fine but the only gains are peace of mind that the unit is new and flows well.

Okay, So replacing a Used pump with a different used pump would be pointless. haha thanks!

Maybe a used gen 2 unit thats almost 20 years old. However a 04+ unit should last for 10+ years.
