I reciently became a Subaru owner, I picked up a '99 Legacy Outback Wagon 5spd with 136k on it. Was originally from Utah and had zero rust on it and very few cosmetic flaws. I was looking for something big enough for a family as me and my girlfriend are expecting a little one in June :). Also wanted something reliable, had quite a few people suggest looking at Subaru's, this was the second one I had looked at and happy I didn't pass it up. I found the car had an rv towbehind on it so i beleave the miles are less than what the odometer reads.

I found this site a couple months ago, shortly after I bought my Outback. Ive learned a decient amount already. Heres a list of mods I've done so far;

- aftermarket 5.5" fog lights, tinted yellow (cheap replacements, just for now as the pass was broken when I purchased the car)
- black housing headlights
- 4500k HID's
- amber tinted corner lights
- soon to have 20% tinted rear windows 30% front (Xmas gift certificate)

here's a couple pics

wow looks clean :-D
do you know if the head gaskets have been done? This the only real issue with Subarus.. its the one thing that makes regular car owners sell these cars for dirt cheap.

I'm not sure if they have, I did hear that about them so I did check really well before I bought it and everything is and was bone dry. The other thing i've heard is the timing belt is due at 100k, I doubt this has been done because the drive belt still says Fuji heavy industries on it.
