So my friend came over and we busted the first fog light out in about an hour, I had a head start buy trimming the bracket and the bumper but I think it turned out good... It was getting dark and cold so we had to stop, we should have the next one in tomorrow night.

here is a pic of the one we got installed...

Nice. How much did the matte wrap cost you? Trying to see if its cheaper than getting it professionally painted

well it cost me $450, witch was material, but I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy (sort of thing) that teaches how to wrap cars. so I had a bunch of students wrap my car. With how it turned out I really can complain, but there are it imperfections.

I will get some more shots soon i have been meaning to get more just have been busy and caught up in other things.

upkeep actually is no that bad it is pretty thick stuff and very durable, it takes a a lot to scratch it and cheaper to have someone re-warp a section of the car then it is to have it repainted. plus when you buy the warp there is a lot extra, prob enough to to wrap half the car over again if you know hat you are doing. the only thing that I have found bad about it, is that when I wash it because it is black i have to use a good soap and make sure I dry it really good or I get really bad water spots.

well I go my other fog light in... I am not to happy with the cutting I did on the bumper but I guess it will do. here are some pictures.

Yeah, I'm just trying to see if its the same as getting it painted. It seems like its about the same. I painted an Audi A4 quattro flat black but it has the same issue as the wrap then. Did an oil change on it and accidently touched the fender/bumper with my oily gloves. It won't come out and so does the water spots.
Painting it would be cheaper for me then (about 250). I bet the wrap cost more if you don't have the connection

there are a lot o guys doing it on there own, but they take there time and are very patient, you can pick up a roll to do a normal sized sedan for under $600 in any color you want.
but if you know how to paint and have all the equipment, plus a place to do it... that's a lot cheaper. the price on vinyl is going down, so i would not be surprised if it starts getting more popular.

So I bought an EJ255 motor and am going to build a turbo motor... I forgot to take pictures of the block before I disassembled it but remembered after it was all apart. I will be taking pictures of this as I go, so here is every thing I took apart so far.
