Welcome the the boards!
I think JDM tails would look totally sweet with white of the car. They're expensive though.

I like it. Like you have said a spoiler would look good. I also think an Outback/GT hood with scoop would look good too.

My spoiler needs to be painted so its sitting in the garage till spring. I picked it and the hood up at a pick and pull yard. As for installing it I think I am going to follow this:

Wagons without roof racks look sick lowered, even slightly lowered. Just sayin, should be your next mod, springs or coilovers depending on how stiff or low you want to go.
Or if you're on a budget, get a used outback or LGT rear sway bar.
And what GTDrifter said...
Definitely follow the DIY on the spoiler! Exactly how I did mine.

@Navi271 thanks for the ideas, im a little worried about doing the spoiler and the spoiler came off of a 1998 Subaru Outback. is that the same one you have on your car?

It's still a second gen wagon so it should fit your car no problem

@GTDrifter Ok, thanks what do you think if i used some Apoxy or Marine Adhesive.. instead of drilling into the body.?
GTDrifter
01-12-2012, 09:46 PM
I would definitely drill into the body, just get some 3m double stick foam tape and surround the holes with that so no water gets in

Good start. Definitely need some rims. If you want to stay Subaru OEM, I'd reccomend 3 rims. I'm all about getting the most out of the cars engine and light weight wheels help out.
The 97-04 Legacy GT 'Snowflake' rim. This is a nice looking rim. It's 16" in diameter and 6.5 wide. Weights in at 18.5 pounds
The 98-99 Imprea RS 5 spoke. Another 16" rim. This one is 7" wide and will fit almost all brake upgrades, aside from Brembos. Weights in at 17 pounds.
The 00-01 Impreza RS 6 spoke. It's 16x7 like the last wheel. Fits the same brakes but it lighter still by half a pound. Now half a pound doesn't sound like much but that's times 4. That 2 pounds off or what the engine has to spin.
Newer subaru rims will work to as long as they are not from an STi. But almost every other oem rim weighs in a at over 20 pounds.

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure mine was from a GT, but I've seen a GT spoiler go on an outback with the "raised" roof with no problems so it should work vice versa. Well, in your case outback to Brighton.

@Boxer Wagon I've been meaning to post some pics but I haven't had time, I'm putting in a MSD ignition in later, when you put your spark plug wires in we're they for your car or a 2000 dodge neon?

The wires were for my car, they match right up. You just have to splice in the new plug. Real easy, just match it up to stock plugs pigtail. Also, the correct way to put it on is with the plug to the right side of the engine bay as you look at it. Runs like ass the other way because of the firing order.

@boxer wagon did you Notice a big diffrence?
Did you have to do anything special to the bulbs when you painted the center garnish or did you just take them out?
