Replace a bulb for a higher power one

I know when I went from a 55w fog light bulb to 100w it melted the lens on the fog light. What bulb are you looking to replace?

the rear light. For now i don't want to replace any, it was just a question.

Which rear light? Licence plate light? Reverse light? Brake light?

Tail light. it's 10w by the book.
What if i changed it to 21w like the brake ?

I'm a little late answering this, but it would make your brakes less distinguishable. That's dangerous, I would seriously recommend against it.
