Hey guys, so i'm contemplating on getting some seats into my 2001 Legacy GT Ltd.

some answers im looking for:

- what seats fit from subarus and do they need some kind of rails ?

- what aftermarket ones do you guys have, how do they feel, etc.

basically just wondering what some of you guys have, i have no idea and no knowledge of how to put seats in and install rails , but i'm
just wondering what'll fit and if you have any insight in this.

if from a subaru, i was thinking leather 05-08 LGT seats , cause i have leather right now, just don't like my front seats.
and would the heated, power ones work from the newer leggys ?

thanks in advance guys !

EDIT: So i just read in another thread that the 4th Gen Seats will fit, that's a relief, just gotta find some good priced ones, but what about some bride, recaro, sparco's ? would i need rails ?

bride, recaro, sparco ect... will all fit you just need the right rails for subaru, if you go this rout you should find a place that has some on hand so you can try them out and see what feels conferrable and get the right size for your body type.

you really need to sit in some before you buy. Seats have different measurements to fit for different ass sizes. I like my recaro's though. Anything from the reputable companies will last awhile...
