mmmmmm..... white RS wheels! those look the sex! I want to paint mine before I get the next set of tires mounted, but I heard the finish doesn't really stay on unless you really keep after it.

-i found the recipe on nasioc.com
i bought it from BIG LOTS, called gold metallic.
-trust me....looks 10x better in the sun
Huffler
-these are the RS rims i posted up for sale, i didn't
get a reasonable offer so i'm keeping them for myself

-just painting rims will eventually flake off...i decided,
200 each set on powder coating or 50 bucks on paint and my time?
it's just something for now....i'll post up pictures as soon as my new
tires are on there way 8)

Hmm, so that is just spray can gold? Interesting. they look nice

And BTW As soon as I get the OK from REASON I am going to be setting up a group discount on powdercoating because I just got access to an extremly large oven.. I am yet to find a nice gold powdercoat either though. I am waiting on some samples from companies now. but the last couple I tried were not the gold I was looking for

Also for everyones information if you get the rims professionally painted like with a real spray gun and clear coat they actually hold up pretty good. The factory STi wheels are paint!

WHAT?!? I posted in your thread for pics, and you didn't supply any, so I didn't make an offer.

I say go for the gold! I was going to do the same thing for my legacy! I guess I found the right place to read about it. I was just thinking of getting another pair of OEM rims and powder coating them too.

Group discount? I live in Monroeville, PA. That's not TOO far away from scranton...
