Hello,
My name is Paul Salomon, I live in São Paulo in Brazil. For some time I have the Subaru brand cars and I think everyone here as I am passionate about the brand.
For some time I'm here in the forum but as my English is very poor do not participate, I go over to take a look, but finally decided to post my legacy rs.
I hope you enjoy.
Well, slowly I will explain the entire project. Basically the entire car was disassembled and assembled all over again. This is the only legacy turbo here in Brazil this year. The turbo models only began to come in 2010 +

Nice car man!

You should tell us what is STOCK and what you have added! It would be great to know what comes on those cars over there from the factory.

Looks great!! Those wheels are cool as well!

Chuck answered my doubt as I've seen motors like yours plenty of times here. It's not uncommon. Also, the double 2nd 3rd brake light was overkill, but I'll let you tell it. Other than your wheels, I still like it.

Woah, lhd with a EJ20H/R, this must be swapped????

And I guess theres the popular question regarding the downpipe and steering or master cylinder clearance on the left turbo??

Dead91silvia
01-18-2012, 11:42 PM
I can't quite put my finger on it, but something is out of place....

It's a LHD, turbo, JDMish, BD, RS, thats whats out of place...

That is one beautiful car! MORE PICS!!!! Does it really have the Twin Turbo with both turbos? Everyone says they wont work in LHD drive cars... Dont worry about how good or bad your English is, this is "Subaru Legacy INTERNATIONAL " We can figure out what your saying... I'm dyslexic so I say things that sound dumb all the time... haha... I never poke fun at someone with English as a second language.

Well, I'll tell you a little more about my car.
He was made a full swap (we say). Like here in Brazil there is no legacy turbo 2010 before I imported almost a whole car and rode in a legacy of the version that came here.
As far as I know there is Legacy Twin Turbo LHD, RHD only because of master cylinder . This was one of the challenges to build this project.
I had to move the turbine (1) a little to the side not to get in but not go very master cylinder to continue using the plastic hose that connects the original air turbine one another. Another challenge was the tie rod which passes very close, but it was all right.
As the back cover, the wing is with brake-light and what would be the brake-light cover fog light I did.

Awesome stuff. This is beyond a rare car, particularly as Brazil didn't get the turbo until 2010. And we thought the US was stiffed.

Great job! Those 15"s are a nice touch of JDM too. A little too small for the car, but I bet it feels really quick only having to move small wheels.

I got a legacy RS (Japanese) with steering wheel mounted on the right and everything, just everything that I had a legacy here. (Here the steering wheel is on the left, as in the U.S.).
I took a Legacy RS 1996 (exactly as the video), but things changed a few things, like the front bumper for the 1998 model. Also changed the grill for the model 98 for the bumper because it is a little higher than the 96.
The legacy RS-96 comes with brake light on the back cover and its wing is lower. I used the cover with brake-light (but I'm using as a fog light) and put 98 of the wing which is taller and has the brake-light.
The wheels are OEM rim 16 Subaru Legacy RS and comes in and also the Impreza STI Type RA.
The interior is all original Legacy RS, only the tissue was worn and changed for leather (black pieces) and kept the original tissue (red) in the middle, because there is no car in the tissue here in Brazil.
Yes, it is an exchange EJ20TT with 5-speed. I am using an Exedy stage 1, NGK Iridium, the rest is all original.
Dampers and springs are original, only exchanged for new shock absorbers, since they were already spending.

Beautiful BD. Very clean. Well done on the left drive conversion, that must have caused a few headaches.

Thank you!
that caused the worst yes. But the result was good.
Now I'm in another phase of it, this weekend speeding car on the road, lit check engine and the car lost a bit of income. I took a walk and came driving slowly until you get in my city. The engine started to make noise, today I took a better look at it and it seems like cylinder heads, but I have to get the engine and disassemble it. I'm planning on spending the system for just one turbine, what do you think?
