Will this work? Outback Bumper & LS beam

I am getting an Outback bumper to complete making my car a "copy cat" SUS. I've been asking friends about if my LS bumper beam will work with the new bumper. Some say that I need to either find a GT or Outback bumper beam, or cut mine to make it fit. Others have said that it fits with no problems. Can anyone help me confirm either of these answers? Thanks!

I am pretty sure you need the OB beam too. My reasoning is the difference in the opening for the grill.

^Yep...what he says. You need the GT/Outback beam for the GT/Outback/JDM bumpers.

Match the beam to the bumper. Otherwise you'll have to grind away different places.
