 I literally just got home and for some reason my ABS system is making a loud buzz like like "verrrrrrrrr" Noise. I noticed it when i got out of my car to open the garage, my car was still running so I couldn't tell where it was coming from but once my car was in the garage I turned it off but I still sort of herd it when sitting in my car but once I opened the door I could hear it even more.

I also would like to know if the steering rach and ABS somewhat connected to each other because I know I have to get that replaces but maybe it being sort of bad is whats causing my abs to do this, or could this even be a cause of a bad fuse and because of the bad fuse the abs is acting yup to a lack of power from having a not working fuse.

Bad fuse would kill power to the ABS system entirely.

Seems like a sticking ABS relay can cause this... I would try pulling the fuse to the ABS then putting it back in to see if it temporarily solves the problem.

If you pulled the ABS fuse, the ABS light on your dash should be illuminated, and your car will no longer engage the ABS system.

I didn't even pull it all the way out, I just touged at it alittle and when it was coming lose it stopped.

This sort of happened again lastnight so is this a sign of something going bad in the future or something?

Yep, it means the relay feeding power to your ABS pump is not clicking off.

Oh so just replace the relay and problem solved?

Okay my abs acting up went up a level. Now while driving at times i can barely here it making that noise and when pressing the break its making a funny noise and I can fill the abs twitching or something while pressing it and after this the abs light stays on and at times while breaking on my drive its doing this, as in its not just once or twice at times. What does this mean, what needs fixing?

Your ABS pump.

How much is one and is it something i could do myself if I have a shop to work on it at?

And would i still be able to break it for some reason the pump just all of a sudden stopped working fully on me?

*sigh*
Take the ABS fuse out. This disengages the ABS system. Your brakes will work fine, you just won't have ABS. The ABS light will illuminate on your dash.

Does the noise go away? Yes - your ABS pump is faulty or there is an electrical issue.
No - then the problem is not your ABS pump.

^ Agree

I dont even have a fuse in my BD, I hate ABS...

Prices range from $75-200... Just drive it and figure out what for sure is the problem. You live in TX, you dont really NEED ABS that much and you really only need it when it rains.

It's most likely the pump, but it could also be a ring on one of the hubs, a sensor, or a relay problem... Just drive it without the fuse, your not gonna die!

Thanks alot this helped. Happy to know this is something I don't really need, and I do know it's just the abs but I still asked just I case something having to do with it effected the normal break system as well.

Hey, why is the abs fuse so hard to take out? Is it normally like this or is mine stuck somehow? I also mean the one with the plus like peace on it.
