Saw it on Rallitek, something I can actually afford, and it sounds good....I'm just looking for opinions about reliablilty, performance, and ease of install...
Thanks :D

Honestly I'd point you in the direction of the Kartboy shortshifter before Perrin found at www.kartboy.com (http://www.kartboy.com) , but if you're impatient and want this one, Perrin makes some great stuff, and Rallitek is the best place to get it.

mostly, its the price...its not very expensive, much cheaper than the stock subaru one. How much is a Kartboy one?

The kartboy is $100, its really well made and designed. They say its for 97-04 Legacy's, but I would think you could use it on 95's...I'd check into that though, but it sounds like the Perrin is more in your budget.

What ever you do, don't buy an aluminum shifter. I seen some break in my time. My B&M short throw for my CRX is stainless steel.

The kartboy looks like an easy install. I don't know what the perrin is made of, but it looks like stainless (just guessing). I'm tending to lean towards the Kartboy. Does anyone know how the Perrin installs? Or should I just ask Sean at RalliTek?

I couldn't tell ya, I haven't installed one on a Subaru YET. Ask Sean I'm sure they did hundreds of shifter installs.
