Hey,
Was looing for ways to make the interior more fun in my car (Currently a BMW E28, but looking for a Legacy wagon with the specs i want.)
Here's the pic I found, in my opinion this looks great and gives a major lift to the interior.
Please post pics if you have done this, or just have pictures of something like it!

I've never seen it done with fabric. It's usually vinyl. Could have done a better job getting the lines straight but it looks nice. I like that the fabric extends into a boot too. That's probably what ties the whole thing together.

At first blush it looks pretty good, but the lines not being straight on the pattern are really buggy now.
If you did this, you'd have to find a fabric that doesn't stretch much but is still pliable. It would be pretty nifty to do a suede-like material. Making it all stick down nice and flat, permanently, would be tricky.
The idea does add "warmth" to the interior.

I agree with you on the lines, it would look great with a more fitting fabric. I'm pretty sure i'm going for this when I find a Legacy the fit's me.
I think it would give a great lift to the rather booring interior of the Legacy. It will be worth the time and trickyness imo.
Here's a dude in sweden that did something like it to his audi: http://www.garaget.org/mypage/gallery_image.php?user=34575&image=1369886
It's a bit too much for me, but something like it but less would looks fantastic!

I've been putting it on hold, but once time frees up i will wrap most of my dash pieces in black leather maybe add some stitching but i wouldn't use fabric one spilled coffee and its done.

Welcome fellow Scandinavian.
How big is your budget for the car and what model are you thinking? 1.gen, 2.gen, 3.gen?

Tough Sweden is a bit better than Norway, they can import JDM Legacies much easier than us.
