looking for transmission and front diff question

So I was set on getting another outback transmission (used) however everyone is saying the forester (4.111) would be better for long highway driving due to the gearing on 5th.. going from 4th to 5th is it going to be an issue?

Also the front diff I had planned to throw in a front LSD my question besides putting new bearings on and swapping the ring gear over does the pinion need to be reset?

the 5th gear on foresters/2.5rs's is much better for cruising. For ex. At 72mph you're doing 3000 approx if I remember. For the second, you always want to check lash when you change out diffs, although my experience is with the rear

Yea so I think I will start looking for the forester transmission then
