hazard lights won't turn off

I was cleaning my 99 legacy" L" today and at some point my hazard lights started flashing now they wont go out, any ideas as to whats going on

The switch is unresponsive? You can remove the cupholder (2 screws) and remove the trim for the HVAC (push the vents back on the bottom, and yank straight out right there) and disconnect the harness for the hazard switch.

Unfortunately, this disables your turn signals altogether, so if plugging the switch back in results in the same problem, you need a new switch most likely.

Thanks Mark, I found a chaffed wire under the dash and that was the whole problem. I must have moved it just wrong to make the metal to wire contact.
