Probably going to get new rims in the future and would like opinions, pictures and facts on what can and can't be done.

I'm currently on stock suspension but have been looking for something that gives me a drop of Max 1". This would mean something similar to sti pinks/ h&r springs with bilstein HD struts/shocks.

These are the setups I'm curious about. Please list any issues with these setups and if toppled and/or pulled fenders is necessary.

1) 17x8 +45 with 225/45r17
2) 17x8 +42 with 225/45r17
3) 18x8.5 +44 with 235/40r18 (225/40 seemed to be stretched, don't want this...)

Thanks, appreciate the feedback.

If we could get a BE/BH specific wheel fitment guide going that would be terrific.

Stating the following
1) car model
2) rims specs
3) tire specs
4) suspension
5) fender mods (if necessary)

Thanks!

Options 1 and 2 no issues. Option 3 I think is cutting it a bit close.

I think you would still want to roll the rear fender just in case, in all 3 scenarios.

I figured options 1 and 2 were pretty simple, with option two being closer to flush with the fenders.

I'm assuming option 3 is pushing it in terms of inner clearance with suspension components and would definetely require a roll on all fours, but would be flush with the fenders completely.

Thanks Huffer. Additional feedback from fellow BE owners would be great!
