so just something I thought I would post up, what can be done to get a smoother idle. I am noticing more and more at stop lights my idle is kinda rough. Nothing that is worrying but I think it could use a tuning. if I pop it into N (its an auto) the idle smooths out and how i image the car should feel at idle.

So engine guys ( and gals)

what can be done about a smoother idle?

plugs?
wires?
chemicals?
fuel filter?
pcv valve?
better grounding ?

what is the best options for the money? what is a waste of time?

Improve your grounding system
Don't run additional electrical accessories when not needed
General tune-up - plugs, wires, oil & fuel filter changes, PCV replacement.

Seafoaming the intake and cleaning the throttle body/butterfly plate might not be a bad way to go either. But do the seafoam first, then do your tune up.

You might also want to consider checking the firmness of the engine & transmission mounts.
