Great googly moogly! That's a sh!t ton of tape. Like it though. Would look pretty bad ass as a finished product.
Now you need to find a honda group and cruise by them :P

I think 1.5-2" would be better. That looks ungodly huge. On that note, do the other side and start cruising around!

I have to agree that 3" is a bit much for my taste as well. I think 1.5" to 2" (as PWT said) would be just right. It would be noticable but not gaudy.

I think 3" is going to be too much visually - but it will allow you run some crazy offsets for wheels.

that's waaaaay to wide. But it has potential to look really good. Everything in moderation

Yea, as everyone has said, 3 inches is asking too much of the styling of the car. 1.5 or 2 in the front will be plenty, but the idea looks good man.
I actually like the back too. You could keep that 3 inches and get away with it. Also remember guys, it looks silly now because the wheels are still way in the wheelwells haha.

See my reply on NASIOC.
Cliffnotes - raise the wheel arches up, remedy the geometry problems, fit 265-40-18 rubber

keep it smooth and bring it back to the fender before the door instead of boxing it like that and i think it'd actually look pretty good! get some nice black wheels with a huge polished lip and you'd be set.

Keep the back 3" and maby 2" for the front

it can't just end like that it has to be a smooth transition...

I know its been said many times already, but I also have to agree that 3" is too wide, however you are on the right lines :)
Personally I would do the same to the front as the rear, take it into the door just a couple of inches, then using liquid foam fill the space behind the tape, when dry remove it, you then have a basis from what to work with, lay up fiberglass matting over the foam, then tissue glass to get a smooth finish, finally blend in with filler etc, once the shaping is right, cut through to follow the front and rear door lines, due to the foam you will have to scrape that out and back fill the shuts etc but i'll work and will look very nice I'm sure.
You can do the exact same thing to the bumpers to bring them into line and maybe blend them into the fenders with no body lines for a toatlly smooth look.
Go for it, I for one would love to see it come to life :)

thanks Mark...so now that you have all the tape and cardboard on there what are you gonna do next?? and the back door, the problem i had was i didn't want to put bondo on the back door because after opening and closing quite a bit the body filler would crack for sure...just curious as to what your next move is..

Well as far as the backdoor goes, you could just make it a coupe :P

That is awesome man, do it. If you like 3 in then do 3 in. maybe think about 2.5 front and 3 back, but your plan there looks good, especially if you plan to add an sti drivetrain to back up the looks.

I am pretty noob at photoshop, but I know of a few settings. I couldnt stand looking at the blue tape, so i made it gray/silver. It looks more like primer, but its better than blue.
