Alrighty, I just picked it up last October with ~93,000 miles. Eh, nothing special yet. Headgasket leaking, of course, and just discovered that it's going through a fair amount of oil (1 1/2 quarts within ~2,200 miles) :neutral:

Mods:
-Borla UEL header and muffler with silencer (sounds amaaazing and has a nice deep tone, my friend with a WRX is pretty jealous)
-rally armor mud flaps (cuz they add hp, bro :smt023 )

As far as the future, the kid I bought it from dented the driver's side fender but he gave me a new one to put on it. The bumper is also scuffed up towards the bottom, so I think I'll just get a different bumper and then paint that and the fender all at once. I also don't like this bumper and wanna be able to put bigger fogs in there. These ones are useless.

That's a nice legacy. Don't like those fogs or that bumper much either. Should look better with a different bumper. I like the domo hanging from the mirror.

What other bumpers are you thinking of? Aside from Rev D, I can't think of anything that really looks nicer. Im not a fan of the 00-02 bumper. IMO the fogs are great. The projectors have a great pattern for staying low through the fog, with a far better cutoff than you'll get with reflector fogs. Personally, I like the look of bigger fogs better, but as far as functionality goes, projectors are awesome.

Domo ftw!! And as far as the fogs and bumper, to each their own. I don't like it. The stock fogs on my dad's 04 Intrepid win over these in every way possible... same with the ones on my Avenger. These simply don't compare. And I do like the Outback style more.

you got a point there. they make 100w H3 bulbs specifically for fog lights. i have them in my high beams :grin: hahaha

Been there. Tried that. Melted the plastic fogs. Plus the stock wiring is designed for 55w. I now have 55w +50% bulbs in the fogs: http://store.candlepower.com/naraulhiou551.html

You could do a set of fogs from a 2000 GT like mine. They fill the hole completely... I think they look better.

Heck yes it is! I just sold my previous car the other day, it's amazing how attached you get to a car that you did so much work on :(

Ok so I hate the yellow in the tail lights, so my friend gave me the idea to just tint them red like he did :) he said they looked just fine on his. Opinions? Experiences with this on your car?

I gotta say, I think thats the only pink cluster I have seen...

Yamazakisubaru closed his thread, but if you look in the first post, he has the solution to your "amber" rear lights. He has a set of JDM ones. He's moving, but you could ask him about them. They should be a direct bolt in.

I think this looks great! I'm not a fan of this generation's taillights but IMO the added red makes the whole assembly look more finished/professional. Plus it would be a cheaper alternative to JDM tails :smt023
