I'll Need A Receiver Hitch For My '98 OB

I paid for a '98 OutBack, but I havn't picked it up yet, but I'll def need a square tube trailer hitch. Some eBay listings say '93-2007 are the same. Thoughts? Anyone have a not Rrrrusted used one for sale, and a harness adapter? I'm in the Adirondacks, but travel frequently, or as much as I can get away with!

93'-2007 are definitely NOT the same.
For instance, our (yours and mine) outbacks are definitely different from the 2001 MY change, which are very different from the 2007 MY outbacks.
You need year specific equipment.
