Hi . I am new here , so I dont now if this goes in the right place. And sorry for my bad english.
Anyway, my question is:

This is a Legacy 2003, 2.0 Liters. I live in norway, so i suppose it's a Europe/Scandinavian car.

1: I have a fog light switch under the cd player beside my Cruise and the front wiper heater switches , that just sits there.
It has now function at all, nothing really happends when I push it. So i am wondering if it should have a function, or if it's
just for filling out the emty space.

2: Is there supposed to be light in the electrical window buttons.
And I only got light in the half dash. What type/name/socket, it is for the bulbs that sits there. Because my HVAC
(automatic climate
control) only has light in 3 buttons .

3: And all of my switches has no lights. What I mean is for example the fog light switch(front and rear), Cruise switch and the
front wiper heater switch. There are all just dark. And its just so irritant to Feel my way to the switches in the night.

Sorry for my long list . but I am thankful for all the help I can get.

Welcome to the forums!

From my experience, all buttons should light up. You should be able to look closely at the buttons and see a horizontal "line" where the light would illuminate through the clear plastic. Also from what I recall, there isn't a bulb you can replace within the switches.. One of those "when it breaks, you have to buy a new switch from the dealership" type things. Or a wrecking yard.

Note: All the previous information is for USDM Subaru's. I really doubt they would change something like that between markets, but who knows.

If I wasn't able to answer your questions 100%, I'm sure somebody else will pitch in shortly.

I will check it out. ;) I am going to change my Gauges color to blue leds now , so i can check it out at the same time, if they are replaceable or not. Subaru parts are so expensive in Norway .,. but it costs to drive a good car.

Thank you,, All help is good help ;)
