Clean. How do you like the intake?
Intake has a good duel tube design right before the throttle body. I really have no idea but it seems like it would help flow. Couldn't notice a specific gain from it cause exhaust and cams were installed all at the same time.

The 2002tii is my dads that we built. MY guess on the video is that its actually a friends video and he keeps his profile private, sorry.
By "wrong way" to you mean height? cause im still on the fence about this. However auto cross season started this weekend so i think its gonna stay low awhile longer.

By "wrong way" to you mean height?
 I'm just biassed, especially considering I just bought a set of King lift springs for mine.
I do like the way yours sits and if it was me, I wouldn't change it. But I could see you wanting a taller ride height because of where you live; you should get a front skid plate to further protect your oil pan....

Got tired of the big holes in my bumper so i filled them up and made a nice duct to the air cleaner.

Been awhile since the last up date. Finally swapped in a 5speed from an impreza. Manual makes the car finally feel the way it should, might very well be the best mod done so far. Alot more random mods hear an d there, ill try to point out.

Is that a legacy-specific roll cage or is it adapted from something else?

Legacy specific. Cusco had to find their old jig for it and it took about 3 months to get after ordering.g

Broke 80,000 so its time for an update. Bought a 98 Brighton with 240xxx and a blown engine for $200. Wanted a white Legacy with manual windows and no abs for awhile now. Plus it has the better looking us bumper. imo. Got alot of work ahead of me restoring the interior and some exterior. Guys loved taking his dogs with him. Gonna swap a few parts from the Outback over for fun. Once its road worthy the Outback is gonna get even goofier.

Turned a shifter extender on the lathe. works out perfectly on my modified shifter which i thought the throw was to short on so it was kinda hard to put into gear. Now with the extra leverage and how minimal i have to move my hand off the steering wheel, im in love.....

Thanks. sure was a PITA to get the backing plate figured though. Some trial and error, and im not quite done tinkering with the final fitment. The new white wagon is getting most of my time these days in its restoration, and i think its the one thats gonna end up with the mirrors.

Started work on a revamped Outback grill for the white car. Needed my first real fiberglass project. Might finish off with a mesh of some sorts behind it.
Cut out the center lattice with a saw then ground down the rest with a Dremel.

I've been wondering about cutting up a grill like that, my car is also a Deep Sapphire outback wagon so I'll probably have to steal a few styling cues from your car, mainly the wheels though, they look like 5zigen FN01R-Cs which are one of my favorite styles of wheels. And the spacers on the hood give it more of an aggressive look, really liking your wagon.

The grill is actually pretty easy to do, just a lot of time sanding. Still some left to do till im happy with it. Yeah they're FN01R-Cs, had them almost ten years now and i still like the look too. Spacers were really easy to make and less than $10 in materials. Think i got 4, 2" longer bolts, and a foot of rolled steel with the same i.d. as the bolts. Cut to size and painted them. Im actually working on turning the white wagon i have basically into what the blue one is, and turning the blue one into a "Way Outback" model.
$150 craigslist score for the Zigens.

A word of caution on those Bridgestones, check the date of manufacture, I made that mistake of buying aged-out tyres before and ended up having a blow-out. That said, I'm liking the way this thing is going!

Yeah i was skeptical on 9 year old tires but they looked well stored and i picked up a bolt in my previous tires that already had some camber wear. Plus $150... had too. Fingers crossed for no blow outs, but ive already put 500 miles on them and thrown them pretty hard round some corners. Old but 140 wear was still impressive.
Thanks a lot. Come friday im picking up something special for the white Brighton, worthy of starting a new tread i believe.

oh I like what you did there. Did you consider pulling the knob off the LC1 and drilling a hole through the center filler? I do love that its mounted in the holder so it is easily removable. Thats what I did with my Greddy boost controller, mounted it in the ash tray delete pocket in the dash. Hides everything nicely.
