use the link i posted, download the full repair manual, it has the right procedure on how to remove/install everything

yeah, I found the FSM instructions. I was just hoping the original link was some different instructions to explain more about how to get those first two posts in the glove box out. I have not figured out any way to remove them, so I haven't been able to get my glove box off to install an HVAC filter.

oh yeah those two are nasty, basically you need a fork like tool stick under the cap and pull them out into glove box, the box will almost drop at this point it will only be held by pivoting legs they are spring loaded so pull box to one side while pushing one of the legs in and it will come out

I think my friend might have one of those tools. I forgot to ask him to try pulling those posts out when he helped me with my wiper linkage the other day. Thanks for the tip.
