:smt006 Hey to all my fellow Legacy Members. I'm new to the Legacy scene but not to Subarus. My past Subaru Consist of a 02 WRX and A 02 Bugeye RS. I miss them but i wanted to go another route So i Bought my Leggy.
The car is a "Beige" 00 Legacy GT automatic, which is depressing but i do a lot of highway driving so its perfect in rush hour. I bought it about 2weeks ago and i love it. Always wanted a BE5. My g/f and sis in-law calls it a "Grandpa" car so i'm always getting shit from them lol..
Here's a pic the day i got it in my driveway..

I'm going the stanced look for this. hardly any performance. coilovers, 17x9" wheels. Little things here and there..

Welcome to SLi!
Grab a copy of your Factory Service Manual (FSM) from my signature / literature section...
Don't get yourself down.. "Beige" actually looks good on a BE.
Here is a local member from my region.

NDTO made a VIP-ish wagon and in person its a eye catcher

5MT (5 speed) swaps are dooable.. not the end of the world.. just depends on how much you love your legacy.. Can you justify the money or is it easier down the line to swap out for a different model.

ive seen your wagon around on the net looks nice man love how you did the front bumper n the integra lip. imma do that with mine just leave it the flat black and paint the opening around my fogs flat black also.. i wish i had the money bc i wanna do so much to mine.. within a week or so im swapping out the stock seats with 02 wrx seats front and rear. i know the fronts will fit but how bout the rears? will they bolt straight in??

02-22-2012, 01:39 PM
again.. thats NDTO's BE..
I am Gen 2 guy.. i rock wagons/sedans..
NDTO used a a 03-04 bumper which really bring out the aggressiveness of the BE front end.
Spend some time in the "members ride I" section and figure out which route you want to take
IIRC the rears will bolt up but there may be slight gaps.
Cheers

I won't be at the Longs Park Meet unfortunately, but definitely go if you can. Last time we had a good amount show up. I think we counted about 47. I don't know how publicized this upcoming meet is, but I'd expect the word will get out.
Here are a few pictures from the last Longs Park meet:

There is also a meet coming up on April 7th in York. If you are close enough, join our facebook page and watch for some meets. Manchester isn't all that far away.

Since I'm giving you all these links, and you have a 3rd gen Legacy, you might as well also click the red link in my signature while you're at it. Its a gathering of 3rd gen owners on Facebook, and they are all great.

I had to find the thread with all the tire and wheel sizes.
https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12004
Personally, I wouldn't go any wider than 8 or 8.5, but its your decision. From what it seems you will need to roll your fenders, and as long as those wheels are 5x100, they will fit.

I know theyre not 5x100 I believe theyre 5x120 so I will def need adapters for it. But I love the look of them especially if they were gloss black. Makes me a lil giggly inside lol.
