Just watched a segment about installing water/meth injection into N/A motors (V8s mostly). I've seen a WRX at a meet with a water/meth kit, but has anyone seen a kit for sale? Form the dyno results I was shown it looked like a good way to boost HP and torque figures.

It's one of the best thing you can do for a boosted engine. Steam-cleans your block internals and effectively acts like high octane fuel (lets you run more boost).

I would love to see a Subaru with an injection kit installed and see some dyno results. The V8 I saw tested made an additional 41 hp and 40 torque and cooled the engine by 40 degrees.

that's not a bad price for a small kit!

I was looking into this before, and thats the one they told me that would work best for me. I may still get it and mess around with it, I'm not sure yet.

My buddy had one on his DSM and it really was one of the coolest things to have... there are a few problems with them 1) you need some sort of fail safe on it, weather it is to lower the boost or retard timing as if you run out of meth/water it can hurt your engine, 2) you have to fill it regularly my friend drove the piss out of his car and was going though a gal. of 50/50 in about 2 days 3) its just another fuel you have to buy for your car.

I have a snow performance MAX MPG kit installed on my B4… I use it to be able to run 86 octane base gas here in Okinawa Japan...

did you have any issues like what mlitz pointed out? If not then I might be buying a kit in the near future!

Some of the smarter kits only spray when you do full throttle, so it will last as long as your driving habits allow.

I was mostly talking about a car that had a turbo and it would start to spray at 7psi and fully engage at like 10 or 12psi (he was running 30). but if you are always in boost you are always using it, for an NA car like garrison said it is not that big of a deal unless you are full throttle. I think that the snow kit is linked in with your MAF so after a specific about of air flow it starts to spray and progressively gets faster with more throttle.
