Wrx stock oil cooler?? Wrx water pump.. for boost project

Well i just did the timing on my 1997 LGT, with wrx water pump so that the wrx header will clear. Now my questions is, does the stock wrx oil cooler work on our cars, or do we just block those lines on the wrx water pump.

you can use it - just make sure the cooler didn't come from a car with a spun bearing...the metal shards tend to collect in there
