98 LEGACY L/////05 LGT Turbo SWAP-ECU-I NEED WIRING HELP!!!

Hey guys! My boss hasn't TOUCHED my car so I've decided to do the wiring myself but I need YOUR help! So basically I completely took out allll old wiring from my 98 Legacy L wagon. I got a 2005 LGT steering column with all harnesses attached and the ECU and bulk head harnesses and ALL wiring are from the 2005 Legacy GT/Outback XT-same thing.

*What I need your help with*
Basically it's just plug and play but I've never done this before. I need to know where I lay the wiring. What goes in the dash and what goes in the engine bay. Also if any of you are in the area and want to offer up their help or just wanna check out the swap my car is located at my house now!

I would love to come help you but i live in Portland... But I would love to see pictures of the progress so keep us updated.

You'll need full engine and body wiring diagrams for BOTH cars to do the harness merge. Basically, you're integrating the LGT's engine harness into the rest of the car's harness so things like A/C, the starter, and all that nonsense work with your car.

And you may consider trying to swap the LGT's cluster straight over to get full functionality there.

This is BIG project. Don't expect to get it done in under a month if you have other things like school to do.

I know iwire and places can do the merge for you. This is a more electronic engine to have to set up unlike my svx swap which was easy. Good luck and let me know if i can direct you to someone who can do it for you.

Thanks I plan on doing it myself but keep in mind, I HAVE ALLLLL THE WIRING from the '05 GT, I'm not gonna have to do much merging
