Windshield wiper defroster.

Just got back from the shop with a new windshield installed, my car cam with OEM wiper defroster on the front windshield.
Does anyone here know where those wires run?

The guy that installed it could not find it and it's not in the pillars.

As far as i can tell, the windshield was replaced sometime between 2001 and 2009 for one without the heating elements, and now the wires are missing/hidden.

The connection is in the driverside A-pillar. In some cases it is located on the passenger b-pillar (foresters). The connection should be 12" from the dash and should be nestled near the seal.

Its possible the glass guy just tucked the wires away into the dash or under a seal when the non-heated windshield had been installed.

Im guessing it's on the drivers side. There is one connector there but that is in use. Gonna take the speedo out and have a look.
might aswell tighten up the parking brake and fix the lights in the AC controller.

It was in the left A-Pillar, but the smartass that changed the windshield the first time cut the wires and tucked them under the dash.
Connected the new wires and tucked the new wire under the windshield/dash.
