Need info on taking out interior and dying carpet

Made my mind up and since spring break is in two weeks I want to go ahead and dye my carpet black. I Just want to get exact info on how much and how good I should go with the dye and also what tools I need and whats the best way to nicely take interior parts out since ill be using them still.

i just bought the dye to do this to my bd outback, i had gotten an extra set of carpet and power washed them readying them for the dye.
