A question has come up which maybe some people (or none lol) have may have had over used suspension components. How long does it usually take for a spring to lose its tension? Some people usually swap out struts and not the springs. When is the right time to swap them out?
(Question open for other Leggy's, just specified BH/BE's since thats what I drive)

How long is a piece of string?
Springs don't just "wear" out unless they're used, a lot. Just having a spring sitting there on a car, with no significant weight beyond the car isn't going to wear it out.
If you've ever hefted a spring that's been uninstalled, it takes a lot of abuse to break or crack a spring.
The right time to swap them out is when they no longer meet your need - ie. you need to go higher/lower or they're damaged, or you just want to.
It's variable.

That makes sense, unless the setup is auto-xed constantly there should not be much difference from when they were put on to when they were take off...

Even autox isn't going to cause a ton of major wear. Sudden compressing and decompressing is what will cause a problem - like launching off a jump and landing, or continuous overloading of the car.
But I would tend to change springs every two shock changes - that's just my personal preference.
