Will 05 legacy gt springs fit on a 00 legacy gt.???????

Im in the market to lower my car. Im gonna use my stock struts and want to put different lowering springs on it. I can only find H&R Springs. I want to know if 05 legacy springs will bolt up to my 00 stock struts bc ive found tein makes a set for them. What will lower my car the most. does any one have pix of a 3rd gen with stock struts with h&r springs and or stock struts with 4th gen springs etc....

How many miles do you have on your stock struts? I don't know if 05 springs will work for your car, but I do know H&R springs will lower your car about 1"-1.5"

This is omahasubaru's BE. I believe hes running iON performance springs + Bilsteins. There similar to the drops of the H&Rs. I am in the process right now of deciding what springs to throw on my BH. I also have some suspension components off of a GT. There is also the posts of MR_Lancaster who is running a wagon, but does have H&R's on.

Nothing special really I jus want to be lowered I was thinking about throwing on. The h&r springs for right now then buyin tbe kyb gr2 in the future. Idk if imma keep the car long enough to go with a bad ass set up so just something pretty basic for now.

If you are looking for purely aesthetic and on a budget than the H&R's are the way to go. You aren't going to go much lower unless you get coilovers and I have heard many reviews that the ride quality is still good with the H&R's

Struts don't do a whole lot to influence the ride height. It will be about the same as GR-2s that are made for your vehicle.

ok cool bc i dont think theres anything wrong with my struts now so im lil pressed with cash but i just want a basic lowered set up. n i dont wanna spend $300 for struts that arent needed ya know.

For what it's worth, lowering springs on stock struts may lessen the life of the struts. Most people go with aftermarket struts so they match better with the springs. I don't actually know if there's a strut travel difference between stock and GR-2s though.

ok idont mind lessoning the life.. so i could tell my g/f i need to buy them now without her saying anything lmao... i'm pretty much looking for a nice lowered stance without being too low where im draging everywhere and enough to where people say oh thats not a grandpas car lol....
