I have a 99 LGT That has been popping out of 5th and reverse.
From reading around, it sounds like the input shaft and I guess I just was hoping for some confirmation.
When you put he car in 5th gear and accelerate, you can feel the shifter push back, but it doesn't actually pop out until you let off the gas a little bit.
Reverse only pops out if you accelerate a little fast in reverse.
Input shaft nut? Or something else? And does anyone know the torque specs for the nut.
