Good god man! 9" wide is big! 17x7's fit near perfect with my car... with the right size tires, but I needed spacers in the rear....

Its just a thought, I'm only going with 17x8 or 16x8's

If you're still on coilovers I would go with 17 x 8, but make sure to roll the fenders!

Best way to know, use this:
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
Put your OEM size on the left and put what you want to do on the right. Comments at the bottom will tell you what you should do to make it work. It think it ain't a bad tool.

Rolled fenders= This is used when someone is wanting to accommodate a bigger then will fit wheel/tire combo.
What is done is you 'roll' the inner lip so that the tire will not rub on the body of the car.
This is a bit of a preference mod. I myself will not roll the bodys on my car because it's not a revisable thing to change. In other words, Once it's done, it cant be undone without extensive work. I have mild rolled lips in the rear, but they I didnt even notice them till about a month ago and I have had my car for 5 years.
Well done mild rolled lip... Cant really tell it is and it was done right.

Extream rolled lip... I personally want to beat the crap out of people that do this cars. I think it looks like shit! This was not done right and to fix this car, it would need the quarter panels replaced... But thats me... I like clean. I say if you want super wide, do a wide body, if they dont make one, build one..

Ok that's what I thought it was. I agree completely. I don't think there is much need for that big of wheels. And it looks bad and it isn't practical. But to each his own
Thanks for the lesson!!

Because If it is possible to turn the wheel all the way with a 9" with as is with no spacers then I was going to go wider.
