Question for you guys who know how to repair wheels. Im getting a set of 03-04 05-09 Legacy, 04-05 wrx split 5 spoke wheels and would like to know how do you fix some good and some very bad crubbage. Would it be okay to just sand down the lip??
Any answers would be great!!

Sure, you can sand it down. Don't go nuts & just make sure you get everything balanced (at a tire shop) after that.

Eventually I want to sand blast my wheels then sand down the curb rash and get them powder coated. I hate when people dont take care of their wheels.

Why not fill in the rash with bondo then sand that flat to match the wheel?

Im thinking about using body filler to fill in some of the nicks, scratches, and curb marks. Sand them down smooth, then primer them, sand them down, primer, wetsand, color paint (3x), then Clear (2x).

use j/b weld its much better than bondo for the wheels, i've done it before. Basically sand the scratch/curbage a bit just to clean it up then fill with epoxy. let dry/cure and sand into the right shape. most of the j/b weld products wont crack come off etc. and take paint pretty well.
