The story is that I purchased new H&R sport springs over a month ago from this seller on ebay:

http://myworld.ebay.com/rtperformance118/&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2754

They soon contacted me saying that the springs have been back ordered til March 16th. Well that day has come and gone and now I just got another email saying that the shipment has been pushed back til April 19th. I'm sick of waiting and its got me wondering if I should keep waiting, if they have been discontinued, I'm being duped...

Has anyone else had a problem buying new H&R sport springs for a 2nd gen legacy lately from other suppliers?

Damn, that would be another blow to the 2nd gen legacies. First the EIBACHS, and now H&R? Ouch.. we'll have to find out the real story here. Could try tire rack and see what they say? Bump for you!

They were on back order, EvoLegacy ordered a set from me. They actually came in last week, They are on a brown truck heading my way. Should have ordered from ME

What did we learn today guys? eBay sellers are hit or miss. After a few misses a light bulb turns on and you say nope :smt018 no more eBay.

I didn't know you could get them! How do you get all this stuff??

The ebay seller is being cool so far offering discounts and such, and it looks like I can cancel as well. If I were to cancel and get my money back would I be able to order H&R's from you right now?

Just for more info, I've been searching the web for a while. Found another post on here where member "bmuzz1" found that the springs were on back order in April of 2011. Either they go on back order all the time or they haven't been available since before then. Tire rack is also on back order til April. So yeah, kinda sucks...

Cancel your order from ebay... support your forum... :)

This is the continuing the end for performance spring supplies for the 2nd gen - when a manufacturer says "on backorder" for a 12+ year old chassis, that means "we have some in our way old storage somewhere, we'll have to dig them out".

Maybe I should try to buy a few sets from King Springs to stock up...

Yeah Huffer that's what I figured... so lame.

I looked into getting King springs a while back, it was something like $600 shipped to my doorstep. But if you could get past the shipping cost it would be a couple hundred cheaper I think. Which would be awesome.

Navi - if you want to try and work it out, I *might* be able to get a set of Kings for you into the States. They are heavy buggers though, as most spring sets are.

The warehouse where Kings Springs New Zealand distributor, George Stocks Co., is located about 10mins from where I'll be staying most of the time I'm in NZ.

If you figure on 60lbs shipping from OH to IA, chuck in a $50 for my baggage fee on the plane, and then the purchase price of the springs, let me know what you come up with and I'll see what George Stocks will charge for the spring set. Is this for a 2.2L Legacy L wagon, AWD?

Thank you for even considering doing this for me, I really appreciate it, but it's easier for me to go through Reason for H&R's right now. King springs are quite a bit more expensive compared to H&R springs. Probably because Kings are made specifically for the car and are a better quality. I can't afford that quality at the moment lol.

Huffer.. I may have to take you up on that offer. Was thinking of possibly getting a set of the lift springs. Wish I could find a picture of a BD sedan or BG wagon with the lift springs!
