So I purchased JDM projector headlights, but I found a few problems with them. The main concerns are on the driver side headlight. The Passenger one is in near perfect condition. The driver side turn signal has a huge hole, as if someone dremeled out the hole to take out the orange lens. now there is no way to connect the turn signal into the headlight. I'm thinking about cutting a USDM piece out and gluing it into the hole.

Here's what I was talking about...

I also am missing the connectors to the projector bulb. Anyone know where I can get some?

haha it's all good man. Just because you're new doesn't determine that you're a noob! I bought another projector headlight and I am going to fix the tabs that are broken on it. Hopefully I can get these on by the end of the week!

you could probably mcgyver something together, but personally i would want a refund. Did you know they were like this, and who did you buy them from? Also the connectors to the light bulb are simply a female spade.

Here's the full story. I did know what the condition of the driver side headlight was, but my intent wasn't to use it. I bought it from my roommate Harry (GTDrifter) for $30 and I was going to retrofit the projectors into my USDM headlights. But then I found Greg Lee (Gregorylee62) at a car meet who had a passenger side headlight for sale. Then I realized this one wasn't going to work, so I bought Greg's damaged headlight that only needs a tab glued in. I will prolly sell these projectors or stick to the original plan of retrofitting them into my stock headlights, and sell them to make my money back. I'm not going to ask for a refund because it wasn't a large amount of money, and he has other problems to worry about besides an angry roommate demanding money.

I thought you might have bought them off of ebay. I would probably just try to fix them, if your going to go to the trouble of retrofitting you should get a quality projector.

Lol hey Chad, one tiny correction on your last post. You met Greg Williams (GregoryLee716) at a meet. The fact that there is a Greg Lee on here and his user name is Gregorylee62 is just crazy. Especially because of my gregoryw62@ email address. And we both love Subaru's! I must meet this other Greg. Maybe we are doppelgängers or something.

I don't remember what the bulb connection looks like inside the housing but there is a lot of stuff here: http://autolumination.com/connectors.htm
Lots of stuff here too: http://www.rallylights.com/SearchResult ... egoryID=53 (http://www.rallylights.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=53)

(face palm) my bad Greg! Looks like I combined your user name and your email together! Hahaha

Thanks again for the awesome deal on the headlights. Hopefully I'll wire these in over the weekend.

Just pull a little more cable trough the cover and clamp on a couple of insulated spades.
