single port vs dual port

Which is better for an autocross car? Currently I have a single port and thinking of swapping to dual port cause I'm tired of being on a wild goose chase for headers.

No major differences..

The EJ22E is great for low end and is a blast around the cones.
The EJ25D is great for top end longer events..

Its more about displacement then exhaust ports..

For the record a member on SLi is selling is UEL 2.2 headers for around $300.. And any exhaust shop can make you UEL headers for under $300..

I was just gonna try to score single port headers and have a friend weld them like the diy that's on here but I'm just seeig what the better option would be. Even stock single port headers are hard to come by

I have a hard time believing EJ22E headers are hard to find.. 100000's in the junk yard across the states...

Such a common low spec motor..

yes many of them are in junkyards but junkyards in my area cut the exhausts off so you can only get the flanges...I'd want a full header so I could make a jig to make the project easier

To be fair, it's not just any EJ22 engine, it's the 96/97 motors that went single port. 90-95s are dual port.
