Any ideas why?

Anyways on to the main question. So I'm considering getting a 4500k or 5000k HID kit for my JDM projectors that have been running flawlessly for the past few months from DDM tuning. Not sure which is better. I'm also considering rewiring them so they are stock plug and play with the harness instead of spliced and wiring in the city lights with some super bright LED's along with the corners but my question is if i get an HID kit i don't want to cut a hole in the perfectly good JDM projectors for the low beam.

So my question is if i don't cut a hole and i just leave the low beam hanging any ideas as to what i can do about avoiding condensation? will it even be a problem?

You don't have to cut a hole in the projector but you do have to cut a hole in the rear cover.

Choose which ever is the easiest..

1)
a- Cut the HID bulb wiring (about 4 inches back)
b- Drill a small hole the size of the HID wire gauge.
c- Purchase a small grommet
d- Slide the wire through the grommet and then push the grommet into the hole you drilled in step b
e- install the HID bulb.
f- solder and shrink wrap the HID wires you cut from the bulb to the harness

2)
a- Drill a large hole in the back housing
b- Purchase a large grommet
c) push the bulb (still in its protective case) through the grommet
d) take the protective case off.. install the bulb
e) push the grommet into the large hole you cut out..

The overall goal is to have this.
Below is the outcome of Option 2.. If you choose Option one then the grommet will be smaller and the hole will be smaller.

Whichever method you choose its the grommet that will protect from moisture and water.
