2002 Gas cap same as 95?

The tether on my gas cap broke, and I was wondering if this would fit.

Part numbers don't match.. 90-94 / 95-99 / 00-08

Well, the seller is the place I got my exhaust work done, so I'll see if they'll let me test fit it.

They let me test fit, it's exactly the same thing, right down to the little notch on the screw mount for the tether. The only thing different about the newer ones is there are more warnings printed on the cap.
