so i started my second grille project the other day,
the plan is to get rid of all the chrome, paint it to match my BE and put a new JDM badge in the middle

I wanna get rid of all the chrome and i know that leaving it on is the wrong thing to do, i prefer to do it the right way the first time.
I know from my first custom project that i can peel the chrome off but damn that was a bitch, so tedious and took forever. Some of it is generally easy to get off cause its already peeling in some places but in some places its ridiculous to try and peel it. Ive already got about half of it peeled but the rest seems like its not going to cooperate.

Wat i've been doing so far is just working at it with a knife and some pin tip tools to try to get underneath then rolling it over the edge of some needle nose pliers.

Just wondering if any of you guys have had experience with peeling chrome or have any ideas of how i can get it off?

thnx in advance

I used Hobby Knife to cut along all the seems and then applied some heat from a blow drier to peel as much as I could.

The rest I just sanded down with 180 grit / 240 grit
