Hello SLi!
My name is JP.. I am friends with "chuckthefuk" and he has been hounding me to post up my 01' BE LGT resurrected frankenstien... so here it is..
Long story short:
- Bought the car for $500 because the centre diff exploded and the car was de-turbocharged .. so work was needed
- Swapped out the wrx injectors for stock EJ251 injectors
- Rewired the ECU harness since the previous owner had a Autronic standalone
- New coilpack, plugs and wires
- New o2 sensors
- New knock sensors
- New crank sensor
- New upper rad hose
- BD 97 5MT & clutch fork (reused BE 5MT clutch/flywheel/slave cyl/axles)
- BD 97 5MT driveshaft
- MAP sensor reinstall
- re-installed the interior and new stero
- a week later the motor started knocking.. been driving it for over 6 months with the knock until I installed the motor
