This is my first Subaru, and I'm loving it. I've always liked them, so I finally got myself one.

It's a 1999 Legacy GT-B. There are a few mods done to it: RFRB body kit, Trust Exhaust, Blitz BOV, Apexi boost gauge, some kind of WAI, GReady turbo timer, and Weds wheels (which I plan on replacing with something a bit lighter and with alot less flash).

When it comes to the wheels...I really don't know what kind of offset that I need. I'm not sure if the wheels on it now have the stock offset, but I sure like the fit of the wheels now. I'm just not into the style of them.

Anyway, I hope to learn alot about the Legacy from you all, and I'm glad to be here.

Wow! That looks really good. And welcome to SL-i! There's a good handful of people over in your neck of the woods here.

They look like they're +48 or even +45 - pretty tight fit for the rear fenders.
You'd be able to tell by taking a wheel off and the ET (offset) will be stamped on the inside (on a spoke, probably).

The stock 17s that came on the GTB are +50mm IIRC.

Welcome!

Sexy wagon!

You're being repetitive

Why the bump, though?

I didn't know the GT-B name was carried into the 3rd gen.

Sick car man! Are you originally from that area, or you just stationed over there or something?

Awesome car. Basically my dream car. I currently have a GT-B suspension sitting in my room awaiting installation. Welcome, indeed.

I'm stationed here. It's a great place to live. I wish I could stay here alot longer than I probably will. Oh, I've been up in Misawa a couple of times in the last year and I see Subiees everywhere there! There are kinds that I've never seen anywhere else. I'm told that it's where my car came from. I'm the 3rd. owner. I bought it from another GI, and he got it from a Japanese guy up in Northern Japan. I'm still wondering what all the STi stuff on the car are about. I didn't put it there, an the previous owner said he had nothing to do with that either. Weird part is: I've seen a couple of other cars that look just like mine at Misawa....so if it was a "Honda Type R" badge add-on gayness a few other guys did it just like each other. Weird....
