Hi, I am Guillaume, 19 years old, living in Montreal, Canada. Some of you might know me for having an 02 BH Outback ( https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20160).


This winter I bought an 05 LGT limited Obsidian black wagon with a new forged swapped STI engine ( TMIC, Intake bla bla), and now I just got it. I have ssome much parts on order for it, so in the next few weeks alot of parts will be put!

Is that an SSI sticker on your door? And it looks just like the SLi sticker. Which looks just like the STI sticker. All of these stickers are confusing.

05 Legacys and FXTs have 257 short blocks with different heads and pistons :)

Only the STi was given the EJ257.. 55/57 blocks are the same its the internals.

I cant find my FXT chart but its the same as the LGT..

I Have made alot of compromise and worked hard since i'm 15 to pay that car. Have been drunk 3 times im my whole lifetime.. I do not smoke, nor spend my money on stupid stuff. I still live with my parents and am at school. They pay for my school. clothes, and I pretty much eat all the time, except when i'm not working, at home. I still go out in clubs and stuff, but I just don't spend 100$ on a night haha!

It's and SSI ( Swap Shop Installed) sticker, but i'll get rid of it. It's a built EJ257 bloc, built by Test Racing.

in 2005 the only 2.5L short block available was the semi closed deck one, although the code is still EJ255

If you don't beleive me I'll snap pics of the 2.5L block out of a 2005 FXT that my buddy is swapping into his RS

2006+ the EJ255 is an Open Deck block.

Those part numbers confirmed what I said so I dont know what you're trying to prove :/

A few updates!

I ordered a FMIC because the scoop is so small!
Heavily rolled and pulled the fenders to pass the 245-40-18, rear whiteline camber bushings and a few otheer goodies!

Should have a photoshoot soon hopefully!
What do you think I should put on her next guys?

No problem with the spacers!

For my 20th birthday, bought some rare JDM LED tail lights ( Not the ugly ones), JDM spats!

Now storing the car soon for winter, here are the winter plans!

-FMic ( flat black core, wrinkle red piping)
-vf48
-turbo blancket + UP + DP+ headers wrap ( and grimspeed headers if I can find some)
-custom rear diffuser
-JDM tail lights
-JDM spats
-Aux In for the radio
-DBA + ferrodo for the front brembos
-LCA's bushings ( Maybe Spec B control arm if I can find some)

On our our dyno the TD05H 20Gs are uaually done at 420whp if i recall correctly.

I don't think I've ever mentioned this to you, but this car is the sole reason that I have planned for my next car to be a black or white BP. I don't even like wagons. This one really shows how cool they can look though, and I like that.

I've seen some go from 400 to 450 whp on 94 octane! I guess we'll have to see, we can't predict anything lol. It's my approximate goal, 420 will be enough! Anyways the 5spd will break down haha! Thats why I bought little things like the Phelonic spacers, I need all the little things for the power goal!

So it got out at 351 WHP (425 at the crank) at 6231RPM with 345ft-pound of torque. Being at 400WHP wasn't possible due to my 255 Walbro fuel pump.. and oxygen sensor. So I bought a new oxygen sensor and might buy a bigger fuel pump to hit the 400WHP!

Right now i'm waiting for my 6 speed to arrive.. Bought a V9 SPEC C 6 speed with R180 rear diff and rear brembos with a DCCD pro controller.
