Welcome. I use be stationed up there, but I'm down in Okinawa now. I hope it's easier for you to find parts up there, I'm having a tough time down here.

Nice! I wanted to do the same thing with all of my lights, same color, too. how hard was it changing out the dash lights? I know how to rip the gauges apart, but not everything else.

It's pretty simple, I have the same thing done. You just have to make sure you get all the right bulbs.

If you have the same gauges I have, its only 4 bulbs, I know I have seen some gauges (I believe the USDM ones) that have 2 seperate bulbs for the clock and odometer that are smaller. The A/C controls have 5 bulbs, and the ignition/lighter rings and ashtray each have 1 bulb. The digital A/C controls you can not change the color without a new LED display, it only comes in green. The gauges I used 4 WLED-x4, the A/C controls 5 NEO-4x, and the last 3 were T1.5-xHP, all purchased from http://www.superbrightleds.com

I just picked up a set of Tein Flex adjustable coilovers for the cost of swapping my suspension with the other car, so far, i can tell that they are a whole lot stiffer than my old setup, which i thought was stock until i pulled them off today and learned that i had the stock bilsteins with eibach springs. i did get the keys to adjust the teins, now i just get to play with the height until i get it to where i like it. i also picked up a set of newer model headlights and swapped them out i just had to splice in the blinker harness since they were different. ill get some updated pics when i get the suspension set up how i want it and clean the car.

Thanks Kimly... I snapped a few pictures today after I gave the car a bath, the Teins are at the height they were at on the car I got them off of, I havent decided if I want to go any lower, but I have been thinking about it if I can. I tried to get a video of the exhaust but my camera does not have a good mic, so you can't really hear anything, I'll try with another camera soon.

Those gaps really don't bother you? The exposed lining make it look like it was dented in a little. Maybe because I like smooth lines and all, it bugs me. I mean, you're already in Japan and can get the proper parts to finish the look easily.

This is of course only my opinion and you are free to ignore it, but I'd finish the look if I were you. Especially since you already have parts available.

I compared the headlights to each other before installing the new ones and they were the same size on the front, the new ones were a little bit bigger on the back side, but that was all. Also, I will only be here until next December, when I leave the car will be getting torn down and I will be bringing everything but the body back with me, when I get back stateside I will see how well everything fits in a USDM car before I do any swaps with the lights

Same size yes, but different shape. That's why you have some space showing in the corners and at the edge of the hood where it comes down in front. If you don't see it, then it's cool and you don't need to worry about it.

Or park next to a D type Legacy side-by-side and look at the differences in fitment.

I have a question for anyone that may know an answer to, do the USDM Legacys have the same setup on the firewall as the JDM ones, just with the holes on the passenger side capped off? I am planning on stripping my B4 when I leave here next year and swap everything into a USDM car, and I know in order to use my EJ208 I have to convert the car to RHD, I am just trying to find out if I am going to have to cut out my firewall, or if I can just uncover the holes and cover the ones I don't use.

I've been told that all of the necessary cut outs are there, but I won't confirm that myself.

Ok, I had the sides pulled back in my trunk and I saw this box that I haven't seen in any other Legacy here that I have messed with. Can anyone here tell me what it is, it had a steel cable attached to it but its broken now.

It's part of your electronic muffler actuator system. Since you don't have a stock muffler, it doesn't do anything anymore.
