So I wired up my morettes off the stock harness. My lows are on, the high beams have the coil glowing/very dim. With highs on... Lows turn off like they should but now opposite with lows coil glowing/very dim(unless I do the ground mod on the lows to stay on with highs.
Now question... Is this normal or okay without burning up anything? It doesn't seem right. Maybe have to rewire stock wiring some other method like a in line relay. :smt102

Well I used the HID kit in my car so can't really help, however I read that Morettes did come with some heavy duty wiring and relays when new because the stock wiring wasn't really up to the job. Does that help?

I just came across something interesting, it's a harness and relay for installing Morettes (or projectors /Cibies etc) with 4 lights in a BG Legacy that came with just 2, like the early model or lower spec late model.
Did you get the problem sorted?
I'm thinking of removing my driver's side high beam lens and making it a cold air feed.

Yeah I had my driver side(RHD) low beam wired to the high. All sorted and wired perfectly with the harness I made.
