Hey Guys
Thought I better say a quick hi here as I am a new member and pass on some details as to what I have and what I plan to do.
First up I bought a 1996 JDM RS Legacy in white for $660NZ still registered and warranted, with 4 brand new tyres on it( no pics yet ) that had a broken ring gear on the flywheel from what we could tell, sometimes it would start first up other times you had to rock it back and forwards in gear before the starter would engage the ring gear, so not too bad, gives me an excuse to pull the engine and do some work on it.
The car will be a rally/cross/ hill climb beast for me to play in so thus far I have totally stripped the interior, removed sound deadening and prep'd the engine bay for engine removal. I am trying to make the car as light as possible so A/C is being binned as well as anything else thats not deemed worth having as it wont be a daily driver.
I will post up some pics soon of the progress and feel free to point in any directions with regards to engine mods I should do whilst the engine is out and anything else to do with these TT legacy's that worth knowing about.
