is there such a thing as a turbo 2nd gen legacy in the states? i know about the GT-B from japan but was wondering about one state side. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Americans build their own turbo 2nd gens! Lol there's a bunch of them out there. Search the members ride thread.

There is no factory US model 2nd gen Turbo Legacy. Some people rectify that with a WRX engine/wiring swap, (I intend to go this route some day), and others go a more "home-made" route.

i just find that strange. oh well. i do plan on turbocharging my legacy some day. I just keep getting stumped, mine is the 99 model with a phase 2. hard to find out for sure what swaps and what doesn't.

I don't think subaru turbo charged anything in the USA from about 95-2002.
